My take on HOLGA: Toy Camera

Few weeks ago I bought my very first Toy Camera, I was really curious about it so I made a "small research" on it. When I found out that it was really a LEGIT working camera I start to sort out 120 films and start watching instructional videos on how to use my HOLGA120GN.

Yesterday I got a roll of 120 film and I was too excited that I want to use it really quick so I stayed at the school library for hours trying to find a book about the HOLGAs/Toy Cameras and I was lucky that I found this book Plastic Cameras: toying with creativity by Michelle Bates

When I got home I mounted the film into my toy cam and I was really wondering "how it works?" I was like "how to? I mean HOW?" I have a lot of questions in my mind but I was too sleepy because it was already 3am and I'm still trying to figure it out.

On my count I just took less than 16 shots but I was surprised when I found out that I used all frames woah. Can’t wait to see the outcome! The first legit roll of film I actually used. (One fun fact about me: I took my first selfie on our kodak point and shoot camera when I was 5)
